White Lies is a quiet achiever in the world of craft beers – they became Quizmaster Caleb’s local when he moved into the Centenary Suburbs, and since then they’ve continued to build and grow! (Yep, definitely all thanks to Caleb…!)
Last year they opened a bigger and better brewhouse in Seventeen Mile Rocks, and slowly but surely they’ve built it into a fabulous venue. And of course, what every fabulous venue needs is some quality, handcrafted trivia!
We’re delighted to announce that BrisQuiz trivia will be playing at White Lies every Thursday night at 7pm, starting on 1 August 2024 under the happy and hilarious watch of Quizmaster Emily. Like all of our events, entry is free, and there’s no limit on team size – play solo or as a big group, whatever works for you. And of course the top scoring teams each week will win generous prizes and vouchers.
In addition to the great weekly quiz, you’ll have access to a bar with a massive 30 taps pouring fresh craft beer in a range of styles, as well as hard soft drinks (that’s a cool phrase!), wines, craft spirits, cocktails, non-alcoholic options, and throughout the winter season a fantastic hot mulled ginger beer!
That’s not all – Yeastie Boys Pizza, one of Brisbane’s finest food trucks, has taken up residency in the White Lies kitchen and will be serving up heaps of tasty woodfired pizza (including vegan and gluten-free options, as well as dessert pizzas if you’re just after a sweet treat). Why not bring the team down and take advantage of their Thursday night specials with discounts on purchases of three pizzas?
We’re super excited about partnering with White Lies and offering the Centenary Suburbs easy access to the trivia nights that our players say are “the best quiz questions in Australia”.
