Quizmaster Caleb is currently exploring the possibility of recording a podcast quiz show, and we’re looking for contestants who could help bring this dream to life.
Will you be famous? Probably not. Will you have fun? Definitely!
The idea is still in its infancy, and getting from here to releasing a podcast relies on a number of factors including finding sufficient keen players to compete in a series of episodes.
The format is likely to be played solo, with 12 to 16 players in the season aiming to set the highest score across a series of trivia question games. One contestant will play in each 20-30 minute episode, in a format that allows listeners to play along at home. Once all of the season’s competitors have played, the highest scoring players will return to compete in a final round to determine a champion. The season champion will win a massive cash prize of ONE THOUSAND cents.
Recordings will happen remotely using the awesome power of the interwebs, so you can play from your own home provided you have an internet connection and a microphone. As only one player will record in each episode, there should be a degree of flexibility in when recording times are scheduled. Recordings are expected to take 60-90 minutes, which will be edited into a 20-30 minute show.
Register your interest below if you’d like to put your name forward to appear on the podcast, and we will keep you posted as things evolve:
