Today is January 26th, an increasingly-divisive date among the Australian population. For better or worse, this date is currently diarised as ‘Australia Day’, a public holiday in celebration of our nation.
There are increasing calls among the population to change the date, but until that is done, it seems appropriate for today’s Quick Quiz to tie in to the concept of Australia Day. But BrisQuiz is not a company that engages in politics or promotes any specific views, so let’s take it sideways a little: Whatever the flaws of our country and whatever the sins of our forefathers, we are a nation that is envied by so many people around the world, many of whom affectionately refer to us as “Oz”.
