Several weeks ago, three friends in America conceived an idea and put it out to the quiz-writing community to gauge interest. They hoped to find 21 others to join them in creating a trivia advent calendar, with a quiz a day throughout December in the lead-up to Christmas. The response was overwhelming, with more than 50 quiz writers volunteering to jump in on this charity project.

As a charity event, this is open to anyone for any donation. The creators have recommended $25 (approximately a dollar a day), but everyone is welcome to contribute whatever they can in these tough times, and there is no judgement at all for those who choose a lower payment. The idea is, above all, to have fun, counting down to Christmas in an enjoyable way.
To keep things accessible for local BrisQuiz players, Quizmaster Caleb will be contributing a round of Australian-based questions which will appear on Day 3 of the calendar. I hope you can all get involved!
